In Religious Education 10.6.19

This Sunday our children and youth will hear a story about a shared UU symbol, continue exploring the first source of Unitarian Universalism, continue learning about the impact of solid waste, discuss the language of sexuality and pick apples.   

Our RE Ambassador is Wil Rivers. 

Nursery will be opened and staffed by Will Siegfried and Kevin Ball. 

Spirit Play will hear the story “Flaming Chalice,” which reinforces the promises and introduces our shared UU symbol, the chalice.

Love Will Guide Us will continue exploring the first Source of Unitarian Universalism, the sense of wonder we all share and will continue discovering the awe and wonder of nature and to experience themselves as part of nature.

Maker Space will continue exploring the topic of solid waste and the impact to our environment.   

Teachers: Sue Powers and Pam Boyle 

Jr High OWL will explore the topic “The Language of Sexuality.” They will identify a range of sexual terminology and discuss the connection between their sexual values and the language they use to discuss sexuality. 

Facilitators: Jan DeWaters and Mary Michalek 

Youth Group will travel to Canton Apples to enjoy a day outdoors and connect with a local food producer.  Please come prepared to be outside for over an hour. We will depart church at 10:30am.
