Religious Education 4.28.24

This Sunday, April 28 join us in religious education for childcare, a Passover Seder story, a game helping us share our feelings, learning about contraception and building a flower bed.

Our nursery will be open and staffed at 10:15am for infants to 3 years old.

In Spirit Play for 4 year old to 1st grade, we will hear the story “Passover Seder”, a source story about the special dinner the Jewish people have to celebrate Passover and to remember when Moses led the Hebrew people out of slavery in Egypt.

In Faith Space for 2nd-6th graders, we will explore our feelings using a feelings wheel and then playing the game Hues and Cues.

In OWL for 7th-8th graders, we will learn that careful, consistent use of protection against pregnancy and STIs can make sexual behavior more caring and responsible. They practice evaluating behaviors and their risk for unintended pregnancies and STIs, in an affirming and accepting atmosphere that promotes personal responsibility and planning for the consequences of sexual behavior.

In Youth Group, we will be helping to make a flower bed at the church. We will start at 10:30am. Bring a pair of gloves, a water bottle and wear work clothes.
