In Religious Education 4.1.18

This Sunday in religious education, our children will hear the story of Passover, continue exploring courage, continue creating a book, learn about Indigenous religions and learn about an upcoming Voter’s Rights Forum.

This Sunday our RE Ambassador is Wil Rivers.

Nursery will be open and staffed by Barbara Beekman and Kevin Ball.

Spirit Play will hear the story “The Passover”, a source story about an Egyptian Pharaoh, his distrust of the Hebrew people and their escape from persecution.

Moral Tales will continue to learn about the virtue of courage, and how this can help us stand up for what we believe is right despite our fears.  They will help tell a story about a fox, who boasts that it’s courage is greater than the tiger’s.  They will also create a work of art about being courageous.
