Let’s celebrate! We would like to invite church members and friends for celebrating Diwali – The Festival of Lights and Harvest – on Sunday November 15 from 5:30 p.m. onward. We will have a get together at our home (see the church directory or contact the office – 386-2498 – for the address) for a brief, auspicious ceremony called Aarti, at 5:30, then assemble at church at 6:30 for a celebratory potluck.
We will plan the main course but side dishes are welcome (please no meat, eggs, onion or garlic – dairy is fine). In the spirit of being green and sustainable we have planned to not use disposable styrofoam and plastic plates and cutlery – please bring your potluck packs. We were blessed with the presence of many in the last two years. We hope to see you all.
