Bookstores are filled with self-help books these days. All of them claim to make us better at something. But on the most fundamental level, what are the essential things that we need to improve? What does it mean to work on ourselves spiritually?
Doug Rubio is a member of the Worship Committee. He has been attending our church for over 27 years, and has held a number of leadership positions. In his non-church life he is a professor of classical guitar at SUNY Potsdam.
