What Are Your Modern Scriptures?

“Modern Scriptures” is a concept created by journalist Sam Sanders, that refers to movies, music, books, artworks, theatre/dance-works, and pop culture that individuals return to repeatedly for grounding, comfort, and wisdom. These works act as secular/sacred guideposts for navigating life, joy, and adversity. During this service we will explore some of our personal modern scriptures and the reasons behind their impact on our lives.
