In Religious Education 2.5.17

In religious education this week, our children and youth will hear about loving the natural world, looking into identity, continue their homelessness education project, learn about leading worship, writing letters to their state and federal representatives.

Our RE Ambassador for this Sunday is Rhonda Rodriguez.

Nursery will be open and staffed by Linda Kenny and Katherine Brown.

Spirit Play will be hearing the story “I Love You Sun, I Love You Moon”, about valuing our home, Earth, that we share with all living beings..

Teachers: Sharon Tavernier and Eileen Wheeler

Our Caring Community will be looking at their personal identity.  They will be looking at their family, and where they are from.

Teachers: Jenn Whittaker and Becky VandeWater

Maker Space will be baking items for their upcoming bake sale.  They will be looking to raise money for homeless families in our region.

Coming of Age will experience different methods of meditation and reflect using their journals

Teachers: Relani Prudhomme and Pat Glover

Youth Group will be writing letter to their state and federal representatives.  They will be looking to the group Write the Power NY – District 21 for ideas and resources.
