In Religious Education 2.2.20

This Sunday our children and youth will hear a story about a princess, share the gift of love, finalize educational materials, explore bullying as it related to sexuality and finalize plans for the church sledding party. 

Our RE Ambassador is Rebecca Pickens.  

Nursery will be opened and staffed by Will Siegfried and Rajiv Narula.  

Spirit Play will hear the story “The Paperbag Princess.”  An indigo promise story which reminds us to insist on freedom, justice and peace for all beings.  They will also spend some time with the Love Will Guide Us class.

Love Will Guide Us will continue to learn about the second Unitarian Universalist Source, they will continue to explore the gift of love and share time with the Spirit Play class.

Maker Space will finalize the educational materials about the Green Light Law, which supports immigrants in receiving a driver’s license. 

Teachers: Ron Tavernier and Pat Glover 

Jr High OWL will explore how bullying relates to sexuality. Young teens need to know how to recognize it and effectively respond to it, whether they are victims or bystanders. This workshop discusses indirect and direct bullying, debunks myths, and provides realistic solutions.

Youth Group will finalize plans for the congregation sledding party.
