Engaging Students

In February 2017, we organized a panel discussion, called “Rolling Out the Welcome Mat: Collaborating to Make Canton Safe and Welcome for Everyone.”   SUNY Canton and St. Lawrence University students served as panelists for a productive discussion about how it feels to be a diversity student in Canton. A summary of the discussion can be found here.

We followed up with a village tour and supper with 25 new St. Lawrence Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) students and about the same number of church friends in July 2017.
