Congregational Survey

January, 2016 update: RESULTS are in!
SEE them here. You’ll find a link to a pdf of all of the results, plus there’s a special video overview! It’s a protected page, so you’ll need the password, which you can get on our bulletin board at church or by emailing us at search@uucantonny.org.

In October, the Ministerial Search Committee asked the UU Canton congregation to fill out a 36-question survey that we had created. Some of the questions were follow-ups to the Cottage Meetings, some were suggested by the UUA, and some came from our knowlesurveydge of our congregation.

We’re thrilled that 153 people filled out the survey! The data provide us with a wealth of information. On November 30, our Congregational Record (along with CRs from other churches in search) went “live” on the UUA’s Transitions Office website. The CR (Congregational Record) is the very first thing that prospective ministers see about us. It is the document that those ministers use to decide whether they want to request further information about us. It contains data about our church and community, including demographics, historical and financial information, and specific questions that we answered using congregational feedback from the Cottage Meetings and the Congregational Survey.
