Our religious education committee recognizes families with children need a break, to find connection and meaning and have fun these days. We are excited to offer the following events for our families with children each month from January to April. Come to one or all!
Parents Night Out, Kids Night In – Friday, January 9 from 5:30-9:00pm – Drop your kids off for a cozy evening of fun while parents enjoy a night out. Church families may make reservations for a non-UU Canton family joining them in their evening plans. Children ages 3–12 are welcome (Younger children may attend with prior arrangements). We’ll offer dinner followed by a variety of crafts, games, and activities. This is a relaxed, supervised night for kids to connect, create, and enjoy time together. Space is limited to 20 children. Movie Night– Friday, February 6 from 5:30-8:00pm – Join us for a Movie Night with pizza and popcorn. We will start with dinner and then view a family friendly movie with popcorn and lemonade. Come for a fun whole family night out where you don’t have to cook. Please register your whole family here so we can make food arrangements.
Dinner and Game Night – Friday, March 20 from 5:30-8:00pm – Plan to join us for a dinner and game night. We will start with a hearty dinner and then move to playing board games, if interested. No need to bring anything. Come for a fun night out for the whole family. Please register here so we can plan accordingly for dinner and games.
Earth Day Project – Friday, April 17 from 5:30-8:00pm – Climate justice and building relationships are core values we hold. We will begin with dinner and then engage in a special earth day project. No need to bring anything. Please register here so we can plan for dinner.
