Supporting Our Children in an Increasingly Hostile World

In the wake of recent events, our children are witnessing an increase in racist, xenophobic, and sexist words and actions. The Religious Education Committee would like to provide a space for a child-friendly and child-centered discussion about how to live our Unitarian Universalist values of tolerance, inclusion, and reason as we navigate a world with increasing violence, bigotry, and hatred.  We will explore ways to talk with friends who share differing opinions, look to non-violent communications methods and more. Join us on Sunday, December 4 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Romer Room. Everyone is welcome – no doubt even seasoned adults can learn from and with our children!
