Our Sunday morning Religious Education classes are taught by members of our congregation. Volunteers sign up in the spring for the following school year as a Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Childcare Provider or Youth Advisor. Teams are formed, with about six teachers and six assistants per class. Each team member commits to working in their classroom five Sundays during the year.
Teaching Orientation takes place on the afternoon of Homecoming Sunday (the Sunday after Labor Day), and all volunteers are oriented to the year’s curriculum and meet with their team for planning.
If you are interested in volunteering with the Religious Education program, please contact the Director of Religious Education.
