This selection of sermons created in the 34 years of Max's ministry at our church reveals the uncanny eye and ear of an artists and the wise heart of a lifelong pilgrim. With lyrical prose, impudent puns, and startlingly original perspectives, Max demonstrates his skill in communicating from the pulpit.

These ornaments were created from stained glass salvaged from the back windows of the church at the time of the addition that resulted in the Romer Room and Coots Library and the complete renovation of the basement religious education space.

The words of the late Max Coots, minister of the church from 1958 to 1992, in beautiful calligraphy by Cheryl Jacobsen. The poster measures approximately 32 x 10 1/2 inches.

The flaming chalice was chosen as the theme for this set of notecards originally designed and printed in 1997 by the eight participants in the Coming of Age program at the time.
Each member of the group developed a design concept, and the designs were refined and drawn on limestone by printmaker Roger Bailey. A limited edition of lithograph prints was pulled by hand with students serving as workshop assistants.
The eight images have been reprinted commercially and are packaged in sets of eight, with envelopes.
