In Religious Education This Sunday 10.2.16

This Sunday in religious education our children and youth will be hearing a story about our UU principles, contemplating the idea we are a community of healing, creating a web page, creating autobiographies and planning for the year.

Our Acting DRE and RE Ambassador for this Sunday is Jenn Whittaker.

Nursery will be open and staffed by Johanna Lee and Emily Dixon.

Spirit Play for our PreK – 1st graders will be hearing the story of Promises.  A story of our UU principles.

Our Caring Community will be exploring the theme of Healing. Unitarian Universalists believe that each and every person is important and that all people should be treated fairly and kindly. They will look to answer “how is healing connected to this belief?”

Maker Space will begin creating a webpage.  The group will be brainstorming what they would like to have on a webpage for our website.

Coming of Age will be sharing creating autobiographies.  The retreat scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled.

Teachers: Rhonda Rodriguez and Kathy Curro

Youth Group will be continuing the conversation about what they would like to do this year to deepen their spiritual beliefs.
