In Religious Education 4.9.17

In religious education this week, our children and youth will learn about Passover Seder, explore transformation, continue making music, begin preparations for a worship service and explore Easter around the world.

Our RE Ambassador for this Sunday is David Bradford.

Nursery will be open and staffed by Linda Kenny and Debs Kalicin.

Spirit Play will learn about Passover Seder, a special dinner celebration to remember when Moses led the Hebrew people out of slavery in Egypt.

Our Caring Community will explore transformation.  They will hear the story of Easter, ponder the transformation which takes place in the spring and decorate eggs.

Maker Space will continue making music.  They will continue to practice the  improvisational pyramid with video enhancement.  They are preparing to play the prelude during worship on Sunday, April 23 .  Please remember to bring in cans, bottles and other found objects that make a sound for class this week.

Coming of Age will begin planning their worship service.  They will participate in a circle worship service and learn about the typical elements of a worship service.

Teachers: Rhonda Rodriguez and Helen Hutchinson

Youth Group will explore how Easter is celebrated around the world.  We will discuss the story of Easter and other celebrations at this time of year.
