In Religious Education 4.2.17

In religious education this week, our children and youth will hear a story about Passover, explore the idea of personal transformation, continue making music, prepare for a fundraiser, and debrief.

Our RE Ambassador for this Sunday is Rhonda Rodriguez.

Nursery will be open and staffed by Emily Dixon and Jean Williams-Bergen.

Spirit Play will hear the “Passover Story”,  of how Moses lead the Hebrews out of Egypt and escape from the Pharaoh.

Our Caring Community will explore personal transformation.  They will hear a story, create some personal goals and participate in teambuilding games.

Teachers: Janet McFarland and Kathy Wyckoff

Maker Space will continue making music.  They will learn about improvisational pyramid and continue to practice for their performance scheduled for Sunday, April 23 during worship.  Please remember to bring in cans, bottles and other found objects that make a sound for class this week.

Coming of Age will be preparing for their fundraising luncheon.  Please bring your dish to share with the congregation.

Youth Group will be debriefing their worship service and determining how they want to celebrate their work after last Sunday’s worship service.
