In Religious Education 10.20.19

This Sunday our children and youth will hearing a story about the great mystery, make fossil imprints, finalize materials for educational display on solid waste, explore personal thoughts about puberty and attend the Social Justice Initiative.   

Our Acting DRE is Shelby Hunkins and our RE Ambassador is Ron Tavernier. 

Nursery will be opened and staffed by Will Siegfried and Coral Pondysh. 

Spirit Play will hear the story, “The Rooster Who Learned to Crow, “a yellow promise story to help learn about accepting and learning about ourselves, others and the great mystery. 

Teachers: Todd Moe and Maria Dickinson 

Love Will Guide Us will continue to explore our fifth Source, which “counsels us to heed the guidance of reason and the results of science.”  They will share what is on their hearts and make fossil imprints. 

Teachers: Ashley Clover and Emily Dixon 

Maker Space will wrap up their lessons on solid waste.  They will share what they learned through posters for the congregation and the local community. 

Teachers: Sue Powers and Pam Boyle 

Jr High OWL will identify common concerns about puberty, increase knowledge of health and hygiene issues and discuss personal concerns about their bodies and body image. 

Facilitators: Kelly Johnson-Eilola and Jim Williams 

Youth Group will come together on Saturday, October 19 to participate in the Social Justice Initiative Conference and more.  On Sunday, October 20, we will be attending the worship service.  Look for more details in an email.
